Madelaine Hanson was sure she gave out the right number, little did she know it'd come back to haunt her

To connect you must hand out your mobile number, Whatsapp name or Snapchat label, but make sure you give out the right details, as 

20-year-old Madelaine Hanson found out.

Madelaine, from Cambridge met a girl at a ULC freshers ball, who she innocently flirted with for a few weeks.

"She comes up to me about two months ago and asks me to give her my number and I do, or at least I think I do..." explains Madelaine.

"The next Thursday she comes over and glares at me, and it reaches me through the grapevine that I'm a 'massive homophobic bitch' who threatened her after she tried to text me" she added.

It turned out that Madelaine had been giving out the wrong phone number. The girl thought she was texting Madelaine but was actually messaging an American Baptist women, who was not impressed to recieve nude photographs from the girl!

"I was really shocked but luckily we're now able to see the funny side and we're actually dating" said Madelaine.

So remember, if you're handing out your number, make sure it's the right one!
